Lang, 61, resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. Lang is a housewife while her husband is a motor-taxi driver, earning an income of USD 6 per day. Two of her children are employed at the factory and at a construction site to earn money for the family. Each month, the family has to spend USD 100 on food and USD 37 on the other necessary expenses. Lang is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a motorbike for the children to commute to work. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
