Shireen is a 27-year-old young woman. She is married and has two sons and four daughters. Her husband is a worker with a modest salary.
Shireen has a project raising sheep and selling their products, which helps her to share in meeting the family's expenses. Shireen wants to purchase fodder to feed her sheep, but the amount of money she has isn't enough so she wants to take a loan of $1,500 from Kiva partner, FATEN. When Shireen takes the loan, which is to be repaid on a monthly basis, she will able to purchase the needed fodder to feed the sheep she is raising and sell more of its products. In this way she will be able to increase the family income and have better living conditions. Shireen is photographed in a FATEN branch.
