Emilia
Emilia was born in Urubamba Province in the community of Racchi. She’s 40 years old, married and has four children.

Currently, Emilia lives in the same community where she was born and where she carries out her various economic activities. She’s a barley, wheat, corn and other products farmer. She sells her dry grains on Saturdays in the Cusco market and on Wednesdays in the Urubamba market; she also raises livestock. On this occasion, Emilia needs the loan to buy cattle.

The “Qorihuayrachina” communal bank meets monthly in the community of Racchi, Urubamba Province, Cusco Department (Perú). Cusco is known for being a very touristy, commercial zone as well as for its traditional “Inty Raymi” festival and also because one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machupicchu, is located here.

Emilia nació en la provincia de Urubamba en la comunidad de Racchi y tiene 40 años de edad, ella es casada y fruto de esta unión tiene cuatro hijos.

Actualmente, Emilia vive en la misma comunidad donde nació y donde realiza sus diferentes actividades económicas, ella se dedica a la agricultura por lo tanto siembra cebada, trigo, maíz y otras cosas más, ella vende sus granos secos los días sábados en el mercado de Cusco y los días miércoles en el mercado de la ciudad de Urubamba, ella tambien se dedica a la ganadería.

El Banco Comunal “Qorihuayrachina” se reúne cada treinta en la comunidad de Racchi de la provincia de Urubamba del departamento del Cusco (Perú). Cusco es conocido por ser una zona muy turística, comercial y por su fiesta tradicional del Inti Raymi y también porque se encuentra una de las siete maravillas del mundo “Machupicchu”.
