Svetlana lives in the village of Nasaguri, East Georgia. She lives with her family: her husband, Valerian; two daughters (35 and 28 years old); a son (34 years old) and her 83-year-old mother-in-law. Svetlana’s son and younger daughter work in a local store as salespersons. Her elder daughter works as a barber. Svetlana and Valerian are running the family's dairy farm. They have four milk cows and four calves. Svetlana sells milk in Tbilisi.
With the requested credit, Svetlana plans to expand the cattle shed. In the near future, she plans to increase their cows, but the existing cattle shed won't allow her to keep more cows. With more cows, Svetlana will be able to sell more milk and increase the income of the family. She hopes to purchase new household goods and improve the family's living conditions.
