Gulnazi, 47, is from the village of Ninotsminda in the Kakheti region. She is married and lives with her husband, Malkhaz, and their 24 year old son. Gulnazi and Malkhaz are leading the family agricultural business. They own two milk cows and sell dairy products (mainly milk and yogurt) in the village. The family also grows maize on a 1.2 hectare piece of land, which is sold in the local market as well.
Gulnazi has requested a loan for sowing wheat. She will use part of the loan to purchase the wheat and part to pay the workforce which will help them on the plot in the cultivation and sowing process.
Gulnazi will sell wheat locally and she will use this additional income for the well-being of her family.
