Linnete is a married woman with two children, one of whom attends school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past one year, she has operated a retail shop business, selling retail to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. Her major dream is to expand her business to a wholesale shop in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 she wants to purchase bundles of wheat flour, maize flour, cooking oil and sugar for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
