Kache is a married woman with five children, all of whom attend school. They live at their own house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past 10 years, she has operated a poultry selling business, selling to neighbors and passersby. Kache dreams of expanding her business in future.

About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
