Avetik is 42 years old and lives in Aknaghbyur village, Tavush region, with his wife and three school-aged children.

Since 1999 Avetik and his wife have been engaged in farming. They breed cows and chickens as well as grow vegetables on their farm. They use the farm produce and derived dairy products such as eggs, potatoes, cucumber, tomatoes, etc. for family consumption. Avetik grows for sale only figs, which he sells during summer and autumn months for a good profit.

Avetik has a small, old cowshed on his farm that he wants to convert this into a new and bigger cowshed for his farm animals and is hence asking a 1,000,000 AMD loan.
