The people there work creating crafts or in general commerce and the cuisine is very varied.

El banco comunal Santiago de Gualaceo está conformado por 8 mujeres y un hombre, quienes son amigos y vecinos, son personas M. carismáticas y amables que mantienen la tradición y cultura de sus padres, laboran en diferentes actividades económicas las mismas que les permiten solventar los gastos de sus hogares. Viven en el cantón de Gualaceo, este lugar es de clima templado, su arquitectura se mezcla entre lo moderno y lo antigua, su gente se dedica a la elaboración de artesanías o al comercio en general y su gastronomía es M. variada.

Una de las integrantes de este grupo es la Sra. María Betty vive por el cantón Gualaceo y se dedica a la venta de comida.

Lleva en el negocio 6 meses y labora de lunes a viernes, los fines de semana labora como cocinera en un restaurante del lugar.

Se encuentra en su primer crédito y lo va a invertir para comprar víveres para continuar con su negocio.
