Chat, born in 1960, lives in Dong Dau village where she is the widowed mother of two children, a son and a daughter. Her main job is growing rice, but she is also involved in other activities to earn more money. She has a monthly income of about 3,000,000 Vietnamdong (VND).
A participant in SEDA since 2006, Chat repaid her last loan of 7,630,000 VND promptly and is now requesting a new one for 9,810,000 VND to buy pigs for breeding.
