Rakhila is a mother of four children. She is a very honorable and resolute woman. Ever since she was a young girl, she learned the honest work of raising cattle, the knowledge she has passed down to her own children who have also managed to improve their quality of life.
Rakhila and her husband started their livestock business with only one cow, five years ago. After a number of sacrifices, they were able to increase little by little the quantity of calves. At the moment, with the support of their children, they have started to produce milk. They sell it on the weekends in their village. Her monthly income from this business is 150 USD. She breeds cattle for meat purposes also.
Currently, Rakhila wants to expand her business and to purchase more cattle. With the desire of improving their living conditions, Rakhila applied for a 1200 AZN loan.

AqroInvest is focused on providing loans to the following groups of people: rural farmers, people living in distant southern villages with little or no access to finance and internally displaced people and refugees, many of whom lost their homes and livelihoods during the violent conflicts in the 1990s.
In May 2011, Aqroinvest started a new project with Kiva proving higher education loans to students. The project gives students the support and financing they need to continue their education and helps pay for tuition fees at various universities in Azerbaijan. Aqroinvest is the first credit union in the country to offer students loans.
