Esther is 33 years old. She and her husband Alfred have three children. She has been operating her retail shop for the past eleven years, making a monthly profit of 15,000 KES. This is her fourth loan. She has been loaned 50,000 KES which she plans to use to purchase stock like cooking oil, sugar, flour, soaps, etc.
With her anticipated profit she plans to pay school fees for her children. In the near future she hopes to own a wholesale business.
