Halima is a married woman with five children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past 10 years, she has operated a food stall business, selling from door-to-door to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of the high cost of transportation in her business. Halima dreams of establishing a restaurant in the future.
With the KSHS 20,000, she wants to purchase bundles of wheat flour, maize flour and sugar for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
