Mrs. Ek S., 39, is a mother of seven children and lives with her husband in a part of Siem Reap province, Cambodia. She and her husband sell pork and chicken at a busy market, earning collectively between $8 to $10/day in revenue. One of her children works grinding rice crops and typically earns $50 each month and the rest of are students. Mrs. Ek S. hopes to use this loan to reinvest in her business and to renovate her house to protect it from flooding during the rainy season.
