The members of the “Caminando Hacia el Futuro” (Heading toward the Future) communal bank which is located in Jesús de Gran Poder, Ventanas Canton, are short cycle corn and rice farmers.

Ángela farms corn and rice. She buys her supplies at the Marlín supply center and her sales are also there and in Ventanas.

She is requesting the loan to buy seeds, supplies, liquids, urea and fertilizer to maintain her crops in good condition so that she can sell them later on for better prices. Support from the loan will help her economically to meet her needs.

She faces challenges like crop diseases and infestations. Her dream is to buy a piece of land to build a house to live in with her family. In her spare time she enjoys going on excursions and dedicating more time to work.
