Chan, who is 30 years old, is living in Preveng province and sells groceries, with $4 per day as her income. Her husband is doing farming. He can earn $4 per day. Chan has three children who are 8, 5 and 2 years old. One is studying at school. Every month, she has to spend $60 on food, $8 on electricity, $4 on school fees, and $10 on other expenses.

She would like to request a loan of $1200 to buy more goods for her grocery store. In the future, she hopes to have enough money to extend her store by selling more goods. For her children, she wants to send them to study in the university when they finish high school.
