Liliana Isabel
Liliana, 44, lives in the city of Barranquilla with her spouse and three children whose ages range from 12 to 20. She sells natural and medicinal products from various laboratories. Her business began because of her interest in sales and when she saw that she received a warm welcome she became excited and now dreams with increasing her growth and later on to have a store with all the legal requirements so that her children will have a firm where they can generate income to finish their university careers.

Her greatest challenge is the lack of working capital to increase sales like she’d like to because she falls short of having sufficient funds to buy enough to meet demands of her growing clientele. Her Kiva loan will be her first financing with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo and she’ll use it to buy natural medicine at wholesale so that she can qualify for good discounts and be able to offer much more competitive prices that will help her sustainability in the marketplace.
