To earn a living, Mrs. Ka, age 35, works hard to provide for her family. She now has four children who are living under her income. All of her children are school-age. Presently, she is a fish seller in one market far away from her community. From this business, she earns about $5 per day. Currently, she would like to have a new motorbike for supporting her business. So, Ka has decided to request some funds through HKL partner with Kiva in order to purchase a new motorbike. She hopes that this fund will improve her business.
She said that she is very grateful to all lenders that support funds to her family. In the future she will send all her children to study at high level, as other families in her community.
Hattha Kaksekar Limited is one of the largest and most successful microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Cambodia.
