Everine is 46 years old and married. She sells used clothes in Gongoni Market in Malindi. She has been in this business for the past four years. She earns a monthly income of about KES 35,000, which she uses to look after herself as well as to run her business.
She has been loaned KES 30,000 from Kadet Limited. This is her first loan. She intends to use her loan to purchase additional stock of used clothes for her business with the aim of expanding it due to the rise in her clients in the region.
With the anticipated profit, she plans to continue running her business as well as continue to save a portion of it so that she can clear the loan and apply for another.
