Maria is a member of the Vegaspamba Community Bank. She lives in the community of the same name. Maria spends a lot of time on housework, but also raises pigs and chickens. She also makes rope, a craft she learned many years ago from her mother.

She has been a member of her community bank for two years now. With this new loan, she plans to buy a cow to raise, which should help her continue raising her family.

La Señora. María tiene 50 años, es madre soltera de 7 hijos, una hija es casada e independiente, cuatro trabajan y le ayudan económicamente, sus dos últimos hijos son de 16 y 14 años y estudian en el colegio. La casa en la que habita es heredada.

Doña María se dedica a los quehaceres de su hogar y a la cría de cuyes y gallinas. También se dedica a la artesanía, ella realiza sogas y esta actividad aprendió desde muy joven siguiendo el ejemplo de su madre.

En el banco comunal se encuentra 2 años, su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de una vaca para crecer en la cría de animales.

Su meta es sacar adelante a su familia.
