Umazi is a married woman with one boy and two girls. They live in a house that they own which has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past six years, she has operated a milk business, selling from door to door to her neighbors and passersby. Umazi faces a major challenge of the lack of a ready market, hence leading to losses. She dreams of expanding her business and of purchasing goats and cows.
With the Kshs 10,000, she wants to purchase a plot of land. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
