Maria is one of the members of the Group Los Buenmozos 1 & 3 (Hope), located in the city of San Pedro de Macoris, where the primary economic activities are commerce, industrial cement plants, and household and cosmetic products. Maria sells all kind of fruit, vegetables, green beans, meat, and charcoal, in a stall next to her house. After three loans with Esperanza, she has been able to have enough inventory to supply her neighbors requests, investing in her business has given her the opportunity to have a growing business.

With this new loan, she is planning to invest in more fruit, vegetables, rice, beans, meat, etc. She is looking to add more products, because she wants to attract more customers and in the near future to run a grocery store. She tells us that her challenge is to live alone with one of her children; the others are already living with their own families.

Maria plans to have a grocery store; that why she is reinvesting and saving her profits to make this dreams come truth. She thanks all of you for your support!
