Christine is a married woman with seven children, three boys and four girls. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food, school fees and clothing.
For the past two years, she has operated a water vending business, selling from home to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of competition from other water vendors in the area. She dreams of purchasing another water tank in the future.
With the KSHS 30,000, she wants to establish a vegetable stall business and purchase bundles of vegetables for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
