AYIDOTE is a group composed of five persons whose members live in the same district in Benin. The group's representative is Bofè Rose (with her hand raised in the photo). She is 43 years old and married to a man named Isaac. They have three children, all in school. Bofè Rose and her husband live together with their three children and jointly ensure that their different expenses are covered.

Bofè Rose dropped out of middle school. For fifteen years, she has been running a business selling yoghurt and fruit juices out of her home. This business generates the revenues helping her to do her part in meeting family expenses. She gets her supplies in Benin.

With the goal of improving her level of business by strengthening it, as well as satisfying customer demand, Bofè Rose and the other members of the group AYIDOTE would like to obtain a second loan.

AYIDOTE est un groupe de cinq personnes, dont les membres habitent dans le même quartier au Bénin. La représentante du groupe Bofè Rose (qui a la main levée sur la photo) est âgée de 43 ans. Bofè Rose est mariée à un certain Isaac. Le couple a trois enfants, tous scolarisés. Bofè Rose et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs trois enfants et assurent ensemble leurs différentes charges. Bofè Rose a arrêté l'école au cours secondaire. Il y a une quinzaine d'année que Bofè Rose mène comme activité la vente de yaourt et des jus de fruits à son domicile. Cette activité lui génère des revenus l'aidant ainsi à contribuer aux charges familiales. Bofè Rose s'approvisionne au Bénin. Dans le but d'améliorer le niveau de son activité en la renforçant, et de satisfaire la demande de sa clientèle, Bofè Rose désire obtenir un deuxième financement, ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe AYIDOTE.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
