Madrine is 38 years old, married and blessed with four children.
Previously, she used to sells newspapers, but she has been farming for six years now. Madrine also relies on her husband, who is employed, for financial support.
She raises both dairy cows and pigs. She was able to start raising pigs after she got capital from Faulu Kenya, which she used to buy the pigs.
She hopes to enlarge her farm in the future. She has requested 100,000 KES to buy a dairy cow.
