Lucia is 29 years old. She was born in the city of Izcuchaca, in the district of Anta (Cusco) and she now lives in the community of Santiago de Chaca, in the district of Anta, in the province of Anta, in the department of Cusco. She has lived in the community for several years and this is where she works.

Lucia lives in a common-law marriage and has three children. She works hard to help her children get ahead. She has a business providing cellular phone call services and also works in agriculture and raises cattle. At this time, Lucia needs the loan to pay the wages of the people she employs to provide the cellular phone call services.

The meetings of the “Los Gigantes de Santiago – Chacan” communal bank take place every 30 days in the community of Chacan, in the house of one of the members. The communal bank is made up of people who are hardworking and enterprising who constantly look for opportunities to get ahead through their daily hard work so they can give their children a better future. The population is indigenous and people speak the Quechua language. Her main occupation is agriculture. Others work in sales, as weavers, and tailors. The women also spin wool when they’re not busy with other things.

The community of Chacan is located an hour by car from the city of Cusco. Cusco has been known for many years as the “Archeological Capital of America.”

La señora Lucia, tiene 29 años de edad, nació en la ciudad de Izcuchaca del distrito de Anta (Cusco) y ahora vive en la comunidad de Santiago de Chacan en el distrito de Anta de la provincia de Anta del departamento del Cusco, ella radica hace varios años en la comunidad y es donde realiza sus actividades económicas.

Lucia tiene una relación de unión libre de donde tiene tres hijos, ella se esfuerza para sacar adelante a sus hijos pues ella se dedica a brindar servicio de hacer llamada a celulares móviles y también se dedica a la agricultura y ganadería. Ya son cinco meses que se dedica a este brindar este servicio y le va muy bien gracias al empeño que pone en su trabajo. En esta oportunidad Lucia requiere el préstamo para pagar el sueldo de personas que se encargaran de brindar el servicio de llamadas a celulares móviles.

Las reuniones de las socias del Banco Comunal “Los Gigantes de Santiago - Chacan” son cada treinta días en la comunidad de Chacan en la casa de unas de las socias. El Banco Comunal está conformado por personas que son trabajadores y emprendedores que buscan a cada momento las oportunidades para salir adelante y con su esfuerzo diario entregar un mejor futuro a sus hijos. Su población es indígena y habla el idioma quechua. Su ocupación principal es la agricultura, otros se dedican al comercio, tejedores, sastres. Las mujeres hacen trabajos de hilar lana, siempre que no tengan otra cosa que hacer.

La comunidad de Chacan se encuentra ubicada a una hora en carro de la ciudad del Cusco. Cusco es conocido desde hace muchos años como la "Capital Arqueológica de América".
