He studied until sixth grade in secondary school. This is his first loan cycle with ACB. He will use his loan to buy fertilizers (urea, nitrogen-phosphorous-potassium fertilizer) for his tomato fields. His growth strategy consists in improving his current tomato crops and harvesting more tomatoes to satisfy the demand from the market. His ambition is to become a great tomato seller in his area, pay the tuition fees for his young brother and secure the future of his family.

C’est son première cycle de prêt avec ACB, et avec le prêt il va acheter des fertilisants (urée, NPK) pour les champs des stratégie pour la croissance de l’affaire est d’améliorer les activités actuelle de l’agriculture de tomates en augmentant la quantité des tomates pour satisfaire le marché. Pour son ambition il voudrait être un grand distributeur de tomates dans sa région, paye les frais des scolarités pour son petit frère et prépare l’avenir pour sa famille.

Amasezerano Community Banking, S.A., is a for-profit microfinance institution founded in 2005 by the Rwandan NGO African Evangelist Enterprises-Rwanda and 61 individual shareholders, and has been a Kiva partner since June 2010. The mission of Amasezerano Community Bank (ACB) is to have a holistic, positive impact on the lives of poor people by providing quality financial services. ACB’s client base is composed primarily of farmers, small-business owners, women entrepreneurs and low-wage private-sector salaried workers. In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
