Biishe is a married woman with two children, both of whom attend school. She owns a house that has electricity, but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food for the family and school fees.
For the past five years, she has operated a tailoring business, selling in a shop to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of high cost of transporting materials to her place of operation. She dreams of expanding her business to a dressmaking school in the future.
With the KES 20,000 loan she wants to purchase cloth materials, embroidery and lace. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
