She makes her sales door to door and travels all around the city with her merchandise. The majority of her sales are from orders placed by her customers. She works three days per week, selling on credit and collecting payments every eight days. She goes to Guayaquil to buy her merchandise whenever she needs to. She started her business upon joining the communal bank and says that it is going well despite competition.


This loan is for the purchase of pants, T-shirts, blouses, sheets and comforters. She is a founding member of the communal bank and likes it because of the support the loans provide.


Her dream is to continue moving forward in life and in her business.

El Banco Comunal Jaime Roldos se reúne cada 15 días en el cantón Jaramijo, este lugar es conocido por sus hermosas playas que bañan las costas de este bello lugar, aquí la mayoría de los habitantes son muy trabajadores y dedicados a las faenas del mar.

En este lugar vive la señora Esther, ella tiene 34 años, está casada y fruto de esta relación tienen cuatro hijos de 17, 15, 9 y 5 años de edad, tres de ellos aun viven con ella ya que la mayor ya está comprometida, dos de sus hijos estudian en escuela. Su esposo se dedica a la pesca.

Ella es una mujer muy trabajadora que para ayudar a su esposo con la dura tarea de mantener el hogar se dedica a la venta de ropa de todo tipo, sabanas y edredones, su forma de venta es puerta a puerta ya que recorre por toda la ciudad con su mercadería, la mayor parte de sus ventas son bajo pedidos que le realizan sus clientes. Trabaja tres días a la semana, ella deja a crédito y cobra cada 8 días. Su mercadería la va a comprar a Guayaquil cada vez que necesita. Empezó con su negocio desde que ingreso al banco comunal y nos cuenta que a pesar de la competencia le va bien.

Este crédito es para comprar pantalones, camisetas, blusas, sabanas y edredones. Está en el Banco Comunal desde el inicio y le gusta por la ayuda que le dan con los créditos.

Sus sueños son seguir adelante en su vida y su negocio.
