Esperanza Divina 4 Group
In this Group: Dorka, Juana, Fidelia, Flor, Leinis
Dorka is the coordinator of her group, Esperanza Divina 3 & 4 (Divine Hope). Her group is located in the rural, agricultural area surrounding Hato Mayor. She lives in a simple structure with her three-year-old child. Dorka says that building her house is her biggest challenge. However, in the meantime, she enjoys to work.

Dorka is excited to be taking her tenth loan with Kiva partner Esperanza after successfully repaying the previous loans and growing her business. She has had her business for over two years, which she started with some of her own savings and a business plan. She joined Esperanza because she was looking for development and with these loans she has found a way to expand her business. She plans to use this loan to invest in her business by buying blouses, skirt, pants, shirts, and shoes. She will invest the profits in her business and save some of the profits to start building her house in the near future. She has been able to save to see her dream come to fruition.

Since her first loan, she has been able to grow as a person. She thanks you all for your support.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
