Maria is a member of the communal bank named "Mujer y Fortaleza", meaning "Woman and Strength". She lives near the Parish of Turi. This Parrish is highly visited for being the lookout of the city. La Señora. María eso socia del banco comunal Mujer y Fortaleza, vive por los alrededores de la parroquia de Turi, esta parroquia es muy visita por ser el balcón de la ciudad de donde se puede admirar gran parte de Cuenca, su gente se dedica al comercio, cría de animales y a la agricultura, también laboran en la ciudad en diferentes actividades.

La Señora María tiene 30 años, es casada y fruto de su unión conyugal ha concebido 5 hijos de 10, 8, 6, 3, 1 año y un bebé de 8 meses de edad, sus tres primeros hijos estudian en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo labora en el área de la construcción como albañil, la casa en la que habita es de su propiedad.

Doña María trabaja en un comedor desde 8 de la mañana hasta las 5 de la tarde y labora de lunes a sábados. En su casa se dedica a la cría pollos y cuyes que es para su consumo y para la venta.

Es socia del banco comunal hace 3 años y su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir para la compra de pollos y en su alimento para continuar con este negocio.

Su meta es terminar su casa ya que aun le hacen falta algunos acabados.
