Gia
Gia is from the village of Napareuli. He is 49 years old, unmarried and lives with his parents. Both of Gia’s parents are retired.

Gia owns a truck (a Kamaz 5410) and works mainly in the transportation of construction materials. He has hired a driver and pays him 30 percent of the total income. Also, he has 2 hectares of land, where he grows maize. Harvested maize is sold locally. The total average monthly income of the family, including his parents’ pensions, is 1,050 Laris.

Gia’s truck is out of order at the moment, and he has to change some parts of it. He requested credit for purchasing an accumulator and a tire cover for the truck. After he changes of the above-mentioned parts, he will continue working.

In the future, Gia plans to make some savings, sell the existing truck and purchase a more modern one.
