Givi is from the village of Gomi, East Georgia. He is 25 years old, married and lives with his wife Nato and one-year-old daughter. Givi is busy with farming. He grows haricot on a family-owned 0.5-hectare plot of land and sells his harvest at the Khashuri (nearby town) open market. In addition, he has a horse and provides transportation services to the villagers for a service fee. Along with the above-mentioned, Givi has one calf. In a couple of months, the calf will grow and turn into a milk cow.
Givi requested a loan to purchase two more calves. He will raise them and turn them into milk cows. After all three calves are milking, he will start cheese production. The income of the family will increase and Givi will be able to ensure good living conditions for his little daughter.
