Norman, 30 years old and single, operates his dairy center business in Ibanda in the western part of Uganda, known as "the land of milk." The fact that there are many dairy farms and milk sale centers doing well was motivation for hard-working Norman to set up his dairy, which acts like a collection center of fresh milk in town. Many milk dealers flock in to his dairy for fresh milk. Monthly he makes about 1.5 million UGX as profit. He has run his business for about four years. He says he has a dream of raising his standard of living. With the kiva loan, he plans to buy more milk for resale.
