Mutinda, aged 40, is married to Kanini; they are blessed with four children between the ages of six and fifteen. He has a farm producing mainly maize, beans, and millet, and has been doing this for ten years. The business earns him a monthly income of 6,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES).
This is his second loan with KADET Ltd. He will use the loan funds to buy fertilizer for planting and to pay for labor.
He intends to use the expected profits to pay school fees for his children and hopes to build a permanent house for his family.
