Samwel is a resident, businessman and a farmer in Eldoret town, North Rift, Kenya. His farm produces milk, maize and vegetables. He also trades in poultry in the local market. He is married and has four children between 16 and 5 years old.
Samwel has requested a loan of 60,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to purchase a motorcycle for a transport venture. He says the venture will increase his income and enable him educate his children as well as offer security for his farming business. He aspires to have a fleet of motorcycles for the business.
Samwel says that the farming business is challenging because of the fluctuations in market prices for farm produce.
