Rosa is one of the twelve members of the group. She is 34 years old, and is married with two children, ages 14 and 9, who study in school. Her husband works in retail. This is her second loan with the communal bank and she likes the help the institution offers.

She is a very good housewife who takes care of the loans for her husband. He sells glasses, hats, and artisan crafts from the neighborhood. He sells products all around the city and makes the most of when tourists visit because then he sells a lot of products. He gets his products from Guayaquil and has been selling for over fifteen years.

This loan is to buy sunglasses, hats, and artisan crafts. Rosa’s dream is that her children never lack anything.

EL Banco Comunal Amigos Unidos se reúne cada quince días en el Cantón Montecristi, conocido por su rica cultura pre colonial y por su artesanía que es reconocida a nivel nacional e internacional. Lugar de los famosos sombreros de paja toquilla.

Este es un grupo de personas que hace dos ciclos decidieron unirse y formar este Banco Comunal que les sirve de mucho ya que con los créditos han podido mejorar el nivel de vida y ayudarse a financiar sus negocios, la mayoría de las personas que integran este banco se dedican a realizar trabajos de artesanía y comercio en general.

La señora Rosa es una de los doce miembros que integran este banco, tiene 34 años de edad, está casada y de esta relación tiene dos hijos de 14 y 9 años que estudian en colegio y escuela. El marido es comerciante. Este es su segundo ciclo en el banco Comunal y le gusta por la ayuda que les brinda la institución.

Ella es una muy buena ama de casa que realiza el crédito para el negocio de su esposo, él se dedica a la venta de gafas, sombreros y artesanías propias del cantón, vende sus productos por toda la ciudad y aprovecha cuando llegan turistas ya que ahí vende mucho. El en Guayaquil se abastecerse de sus productos y lleva más de 15 años dedicado a esta actividad.

Este crédito es para comprar gafas, sombreros y otras artesanías.

Su sueño es que nunca les falte nada a sus hijos.
