It is a big responsibility of the parent to be the head of the family. Mrs. Sin never takes time to visit or talk freely with someone else. She always takes care of how to earn more cash for her family. Nowadays she is a farmer. When she takes time from this business, Mrs Sin is a fish seller around her village. She earns about $2.5 per day. Talking to her husband, he is a supreme person who always takes care of her and all their children. He works as a construction worker in his community. Mrs. Sin wishes a loan of perhaps $250 in order to purchase seeds, fertilizers and pumping machine.
Hattha Kaksekar Limited is one of the largest and most successful microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Cambodia. The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
