Nelly Lucia
Sra. Nelly has 10 cows in production. Her business produces raw milk that is sold to the “Leche PIL” industrial plant in the city of Cochabamba.

Nelly lives in the District of La Tamborada, which is to the south of the city of Cochabamba and next to an area known for raising cows. She lives with her children who help manage her business. Almost all of her family is in charge of caring for and looking after the dairy cows.

Nelly is requesting a loan to buy a truckload of soybean husks by the kilo because it is a less expensive way to feed her cows. When used as cattle feed, soybean husks have the same amount of nutrition as dried corn husks.
