Annonciata is a 48-year-old Rwandan entrepreneur with three children between the ages of 20 and 26. All her children are in school and she is a widow. For the past four years, she has run a business selling foodstuffs and this enterprise has helped her feed her family. She requires this loan so she can purchase 100 kg of beans and sorghum that she will sell to make a profit. With her profits, she plans to accumulate savings that will allow her to provide for her family in the future.
