Zeinab
Zeinab is a 34-year-old married woman who has worked as a tailor for 11 years; she enjoys her business. Zeinab is a hardworking woman, helping her husband earn their livelihoods. In addition to tailoring, Zeinab also has a small area in her shop where she sells household appliances. Most of the clients who come for tailoring needs are attracted by the appliances and vice versa.

Zeinab is skilled at what she does and works hard on improving her business as much as she can. That is why she is requesting a loan from Al Majmoua, Kiva's partner, in order to buy a specialized tailoring machine and to increase her home appliances capital.

Zeinab's business increases a lot during the holy Eid Al Fitr celebrations, a three day Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, since most people mend old clothes or request new tailored dresses and many other items. An updated machine would help a lot during this season and the coming days. Zeinab hopes to expand her business by opening two big separate shops in the future.
