Console is a 52-year-old Rwandan entrepreneur with three children between the ages of 19 and 23. One child has finished primary school and the other two are still completing their studies. Her husband works as a farmer.
For the past 30 years, she has sold a local drink called urbushera, which is made from sorghum. This successful business has enabled her to feed her children and improve her family’s standard of living.
She will use this loan to purchase more sorghum from which she will make more urbushera.
She hopes to earn enough profits to purchase a house for her family.
