The “Dávila” group is composed of four hard working, enterprising people. The coordinator is Meyling Francisca who is a fruit merchant. When she started out about eight years ago she started buying fruit by the pound. Now, she buys entire crops of tamarind, mangoes, jocote (common names include Red Mombin, Purple Mombin, Hog Plum, Sineguela, and Siriguela), mamón (Spanish lime), etc.

She has three children, a ten-year-old, a five-year-old and an 8-month-old baby, that she works very hard for together with her husband and father-in-law. On this occasion she’ll buy lemons and avocadoes.

The other group members are Modesta Francisca, 19, Milagro de Jesús, 37, and Alba, 30, who are merchants selling seasonal fruit and vegetables.

El grupo los Dávila está conformado por cuatro personas trabajadoras y emprendedoras. La coordinadora es la señora Meyling Francisca quien se dedica al comercio de frutas al inicio hace ocho años aproximadamente empezó comprando los productos por libras en la actualidad compra las cosechas de tamarindo, mango, jocote y mamón...etc.
Ella tiene tres hijos de 10 y 5 años y una bebe de ocho meses por los cuales labora arduamente junto a su esposo y suegro. Ella ahora comprará limón y aguacate.
Las otras integrantes del grupo son Modesta Francisca de 19 años, Milagro de Jesús de 37 años y Alba de 30 años quien se dedican al comercio de frutas y verduras de acuerdo a la temporada.
