Givi comes from the village of Ghvankiti, Imereti Region, West Georgia. He is 58 years old and lives with his wife, Olga. Givi has a mini-bus and provides transportation services to people living in the Imereti Region. Olga is leading the agricultural business of the family. They have two sheep and sell lambs in the season. Also, the family owns one pig and sells piglets. Domestic animals are sold in Zestaponi, a nearby town.
Givi requests credit for purchasing a cow. He and Olga will produce cheese and sell it in the Zestaponi market. It will increase the income of the family, which amounts currently to 650 Laris per month.
Givi and Olga plan to use the increase in income as a result of the purchase of the cow for further expansion of their agro-business.
