Édith est mariée et a à charge 4 enfants, qui évoluent très bien à l'école. Elle réside en location avec ses enfants et son mari qui est chauffeur en service à SIBEAU, une société de la place. Elle est aidée dans le ménage par son mari en ce qui concerne les charges du ménage.
Dotée d'une expérience d'au moins 16 ans, Édith prépare et vend de divers mets dans une boutique à son domicile sise à Calavi. A ceci, elle a associé la distribution des tissus de marques HITAGET, VLISCO et autres à des habitants de sa zone commerciale et de ses environs. Édith fait ses approvisionnements au marché international du Bénin nommé Tokpa. Elle sollicite et obtient le renouvellement d'un appui financier à FINADEV pour le développement de son activité afin de faire face aux besoins de sa clientèle. Elle est maintenant à son 3ème crédit. Le revenu supplémentaire généré par ledit appui lui permettra d'améliorer les conditions de vie de sa famille. Édith souhaiterait voir son commerce connaître de l'évolution dans l'avenir.
