This group’s name is “Las Estrellas de Tlaltepango” (Stars of Tlaltepango). The name was chosen because that’s the name of the neighborhood they meet in and they consider themselves stars. The group is located in Puebla, México and it has 10 members. This is their first loan request.
Jazmín is group Treasurer. She is 19 years old and only went to elementary school. She sells chickens she raised. She is known by her fellow members for being a responsible person who has managed to get ahead. She’s from this community and has been making progress for the last three years. She wants the loan to invest in her chicken raising business.

She will use the loan to buy feed and cleaning supplies to use in the care and feeding of her fowl. With profits she will continue investing in her business because the fowl require time for subsequent sale. She also wants to continue helping her family with expenses and offering them a better quality of life.

El nombre de este grupo es "Las Estrellas de Tlaltepango", este nombre fue adoptado porque asi se llama el el barrio donde se reunen, ellas se consideran unas estrellas. El grupo se ubica en Puebla, México. El grupo esta conformado por 10 integrantes y es la primera vez que solicitan un prestamo. La señora JAZMIN es la Tesorera del grupo, ella tiene 19 años de edad y estudio unicamente la primaria. Vende Pollo de engorda. La señora es reconocida por sus compañeras por una persona responsable y que ha salido adelante, siendo originaria de esta comunidad ha ido progresando desde hace 3 años, el prestamo lo requiere para invertir mas en su negocio de venta de pollos. Con el prestamo va a comprar alimentos y productos de limpieza para la crianza y engorda de sus aves. Con las ganancias continuará invirtiendo en su negocio ya que sus aves necesitan dedicarle mucho tiempo para posteriormente venderlos, tambien quiere seguir apoyando a su familia en los gastos economicos y ofrecerles una mejor calidad de vida.
