Shogher is a 28-year-old Lebanese woman living with her husband and one young child. She has been selling different types of clothes since 2005. She works from her home.
Her prices are fair compared to other clothes dealers and traders prices. This is the reason why she has a good number of clients buying her products.
Today, she is asking to borrow $1000 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to increase her stock of new clothes. In the future, she is hoping to open her own store.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
