Le groupe GBEDOKPO ZONGO est composé de cinq personnes qui habitent dans la même maison. C'est la première fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de son activité. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Geneviève est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Geneviève est âgée de 43 ans et vit au Bénin. Geneviève est mariée à un entrepreneur du nom de Imorou. Le couple à trois enfants tous scolarisés et encore à leur charge. Geneviève vit depuis sa naissance au Bénin. Afin de subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de ses enfants, Geneviève vend depuis dix ans des sachets d'eau. A côté de cette activité, Geneviève vend des fripperies au Bénin. Geneviève s’approvisionne au Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Geneviève sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe GBEDOKPO ZONGO, un premier crédit.

About Alidé

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients. This is a Group Loan
