Mwanajuma is a married woman with four children, two boys and two girls. She lives at a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and electricity bills.
For the past 15 years, she has operated a vegetable-stall business, selling at the market to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of competition from other vegetable operators in her area. Her dream is to own a plot of land in the future.
With the 20,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase fruits and vegetables for sale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
