Jeanine is a Rwandan entrepreneur married to a driver. They have four children between the ages of 4 and 13 years old. All of them are in school.
Since 2003, Jeanine has been selling charcoal. Her business has expanded, and in the time she once sold 20 sacks, she now sells 140.
She will use this loan to purchase more charcoal to sell to meet the growing demand in her business.
With the profits from her business, she plans to accumulate savings and renovate her family’s house. Her goal as a business woman is to become a wholesaler and run her own store.
